Not only did it turn out cute but it also kept Caroline busy. Luckily, Kelly has a crafty niece.

WE LOVE WREATHS
The title says it all - We love wreaths. We love to make wreaths and they can be an easy and fun way to accent any area in your home. They are not just for your front door! We both have them throughout our homes. Between the two of us we can make a wreath out of just about anything. This post is just focusing on 3.
The first is made out of book pages and is Leah's favorite. The one pictured is a little rough around the edges because it had been moved 3 times. This one could be made out of newspaper, sheets of music or your favorite book.

Second, is made out of old ties. It would fund to make this one out of your father's or grandfather's old ties. It was originally made for Father's Day but would be an excellent addition to any room that you need to add color to. This is one of the few wreaths that actually have a masculine touch.
Finally, Kelly's Favorite. We love how this one looks like it covered in ruffles. It is sophisticated and girly. Kelly uses it above her fireplace without a bow or to frame a window with the burlap bow. You would add any color of bow or accessory. This one was the most time consuming but well worth it.
As always, let us know if you would like us to make any wreath for you. It could be one of these 3 or anything else you can dream up.
We have many more wreaths to come. Including wreaths made from Tulle, Mesh, and balloons. Stay Tuned.....

CLASSY TASTE ON A DOLLAR TREE BUDGET!
One thing that we pride ourselves on is our ability to do anything on a budget. You can do just about anything on a buget: it just takes a little extra time, organization, flexibility, and some creativity. Kelly's mother's birthday became the first blog and we wanted a challenge - something we have never done before. Therefore, the Dollar Tree Challenge was born. Kelly's mom, Sharon, loves black and white and shares our love of all things Dollar Tree. The following challenge took 2 trips to the Dollar Tree and 3 hours of DIY time.
The pumpkins are regular plastic pumpkins with book pages mod podged over them to make them fit the black and white theme.
The placemats were a true PEACOCK MOMENT. When Leah picked up the shelf liner we both automatically knew what do to with it. These are simple matte boards with patterned shelf liner.
The red candles add a pop of color, while the bud vases, which add dimension, are salt and pepper shakers.
If you would like this replicated or duplicated - please contact us at peacockmoments@gmail.com and of course we will work with your budget.
We can also do our "Party in a Box". The box would contain the place setting, centerpieces, and pictures of what we would recommend the set up to look like. You just provide a color scheme or theme and a budget.
THE ORIGIN OF PEACOCK MOMENTS
Hi There! Welcome to PEACOCK MOMENTS by Leah and Kelly. We would love to introduce ourselves. We met while attending The University of Tennessee. It started out as normal study sessions and early morning business classes. Eventually we branched out to cupcake breaks, pizza Mondays, and eventually to trips to Disney World and Southern California (on a budget of course). While at the San Diego Zoo, Leah spotted a peacock. All of a sudden, she stopped in her tracks, her eyes got wider, and she said PEACOCK - in a very excited, slightly higher pitched voice. She would continue to do this all day throughout the zoo. While we eventually came to the conclusion it was the same couple of peacocks she spotted throughout the day, we let her have her fun. Over the years PEACOCK MOMENTS have expanded to something similar to "Light Bulb Moments"- That moment you get really excited about a thought you just had and you have to share it (or chase after it with your camera).
Long story short: our PEACOCK MOMENTS, share of obsessive compulsive planning and love of all things "themed out" we eventually decided to do something with all of our PEACOCK MOMENTS. Our goal goes far beyond this blog. We want to expand into doing work for others. Let us know if you have any ideas that you would like us to cover and we are always willing to duplicate any of our ideas for you - for a small fee of course. If you like an idea and our price is to high let us know your budget - we love a challenge. We want to make your life easier so let us know what you think at peacockmoments@gmail.com.
P.S. We did not major in English so please excuse all of the grammar, spelling, punctuation, and all other English down falls that will occur. We can decorate circles around our grammatical errors!
